At the age of 21, having completed his apprenticeship, armed with an expert knowledge of gems and a strong desire to follow his dream, Percy Marks scraped together his meagre savings to open his first store.

Through his sons, Percy Jnr. and Rolf, his grandson Ken and now great–grandson Cameron, the Marks family has a perspective on jewellery, style and culture that spans four generations.
