ONE TO WATCH

Last night at the 54th Annual Logie awards the stars sure came out with a bang.

The Logies definitely have the most refined and elegant red carpet turn out’s, so draping yourself in designer jewels and gowns is a must if attending.

Our “one to watch” Kate Ritchie fell nothing short of stunning in this midnight blue sequin dress by Steven Khalil .

Look at her jewellery WOW! Beautiful chandelier style earrings featuring over 2 carat brilliant cut diamonds at the base of each earring, and the bangle featuring over 7carats of diamonds.

We are not suprised that Kate made the best dressed list.

ONE TO WATCH

Here at Percy Marks we’re counting down the days until the 54th Annual TV Logies on the 15th of this month.

It will be held at the Crown Entertainment Complex in Melbourne, like it has for the past 15 years.

Performers at the event will include British boybandOne Direction, Tony Bennett and mentors on The Voice singers Seal and Delta Goodrem. As well as hosted by an array of Aussie celebs such as Jules Lund, Sonia Kruger, Livinia Nixon and Shane Crawford.

But I think we can all agree it’s the red carpet moments we’ll all be tuning in for, here at Percy Marks our “One To Watch” would have to be Kate Ritchie!

APRIL GEMS

So as we head into the colder seasons of the year we thought we’d take a look at some well known faces we’ve all become acquainted with over the years who all share the month of April as their birthday.

To help celebrate their special time of the year we thought we’d take a look at some of their other special moments.

JEWELLERY MOMENTS!!

Our first April Gem is Mandy Moore.

I know we all remember her as a young pop star when she burst on the scene at only 15years old. But seems to be one of the young ladies who has survived Hollywood, while keeping herself intact and has turned into an elegant young woman along the way.

Here Mandy is wearing a five strand pearl and diamond necklet. This particular piece looks like it was created in the 1920’s, and we think she looks fantastic in it!

The simplicity of the hair and dress helps us really appreciate this piece and tops it off as our number one pick of the month.

In our number two spot we have Cynthia Nixon.

She’s another star that’s recently come back in to the lime light. First with the return of the Sex and The City movies, as well as her new role in the award winning drama Wit.Here Cynthia’s sporting a pair of chandelier diamond and rubellite earrings.

We think this looks fabulous and hope to see more of this look on her now that she’s back on the radar.

Now last but certainly not least we have the one and only Queen Elizabeth II.

Elizabeth was born heir to King George VI on 21st April 1926 in the Commonwealth realm.

Queen Elizabeth first met Prince Phillip at the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth. She may have only been 13, but she said she fell in love and they began exchanging letters.

It’s said that Elizabeth’s mother first opposed the union, but ignoring this they still married. And marry they did on the 20th November 1947 in Westminster Abbey. Above are some of the pieces Elizabeth wore on the day, she chose to wear her mother’s pearl necklace of two strand pearls. One with 50 pearls and the other with 46, as well as a ruby and diamond Country of Cornwall bracelet that was given to Elizabeth as a wedding gift from Queen Mary.

The Central flower is detachable and can be worn as a brooch.

Classic and imprinted in history, love!
